Grease Trap Pump Out Schedule Miami-Dade
Every 90 days or when the trap reaches 25 % capacity, whichever comes first.
A Little Havana cafecito window switched to quarterly service and surprise inspections dropped to one a year. Grease Connections time-stamps every pump-out in your dashboard so the county never questions the log.

How Miami-Dade Enforces it
Inspectors dip-stick the interceptor during audits. If solids fill more than a quarter of the tank, they tag the trap “failed,” issue a $250 administrative fee, and require proof of pumping within 72 hours.
The 90-day / 25 % rule appears in FOG Program Manual, Chapter 24-42.6. Download the county PDF
