The legal-services chapter

In 2010, deep in the recession; I was a junior in-house marketer grinding out SEO audits for solo attorneys who couldn’t afford a billboard, let alone an agency. Results kept stacking, and by 2014 I was managing a $1 million Swatch Group digital buy while still moonlighting for law firms that billed $400 per click on Google Ads. Over 20 firms later, my playbook for YMYL content, structured-data compliance, and courtroom-grade ad tracking is still cited in CLE workshops.

Key win: a multi state injury firm saw 380 percent traffic growth in nine weeks after we rebuilt landing pages to pass Google’s “Helpful Content” test and the bar association’s advertising rules, simultaneously.
